There are several ways that S3 increases the efficiency of Oracle databases. The most crucial is that there is a lowering of payouts to Oracle. Many businesses even opt to move the Oracle database entirely to S3. But the process to opt for should be evaluated thoroughly before moving the database Oracle to S3.
